Information About Amendment 26 (10/28/2011)
Dear Love Ministries Partners,

Below is a letter written by a friend of ours regarding the upcoming vote on Amendment 26. We appreciate Monique's input and ask that you prayerfully read the information below.

On November 8th , 2011, fellow Christians of Mississippi have an incredible opportunity to vote for life.  Initiative 26 “Personhood Amendment” will ask a simple question, “Should person or persons be defined to include every human being from the time of fertilization, cloning, or the functional equivalent thereof?”  What a monumental moment for Mississippi! Mississippi has claimed to be a “pro-life state,” and God is giving us the opportunity to prove it.   Even the enemy recognizes how critical this moment is.  We know that he is the father of lies and confusion, and spreading lies is just what he has been trying to do to create fear and confusion for the body of Christ.  Planned Parenthood and the ACLU under the guise of “Mississippians for Healthy Families” have poured millions of dollars into a campaign against Amendment 26.  Here is the real truth:

Will Personhood ban contraceptives?
No.  By definition a contraceptive prevents conception; so, only birth control methods that allow a baby to be conceived and then expelled would be banned.

Will Personhood end in vitro fertilization?
No.  It would not ban IVF; however, it would protect embryos from being destroyed and most likely result in new laws creating restrictions for this unrestricted industry.

Will Personhood prevent a doctor from saving the life of a mother with a life threatening pregnancy?
No.  According to Mississippi Code Annotated §§ 97-3-37 and 97-3-17 which are already in place, physicians are protected from criminal prosecution for the death of an unborn child in the course of rendering medical services to the mother, including legal abortions, at the request of the mother or the mother’s legal guardian.  Miss. Code Ann. § 97-3-37(3).  In addition, § 97-3-17 provides that the killing of another human being is excusable when “committed by accident and misfortune in doing any lawful act by lawful means, with usual and ordinary caution, and without any unlawful intent.”  Miss. Code Ann. § 97-3-17(a).  Thus, when an unborn child is accidently killed during the course of rendering lawful medical services, the physician will be protected, provided he exercised ordinary skill and caution in the rendering of such services.

We can’t know exactly what will happen once this amendment is implemented because an amendment is after all framework, but I put my trust in God and His word.  He promises blessings when we choose life according to Deut. 30:19.

The other day my four year old daughter overheard a conversation I was having about abortion.  She wanted to know why we would have to protect babies.  She then asked me such a profound question.  She said, “Momma, does their blood cry out to God like Abel’s blood did?” The answer is, “yes!”   We must end the shedding of innocent blood and protect women. God is drawing a line right here on Mississippi soil, and He wants to know where His Church will stand.  Will you stand with me on the side of life?  Will you be a voice for the unborn?  Will we finally end this grave injustice?  Vote Yes on 26!

51 Days of Reformation Update (10/21/2011)
Dear Love Ministries Partners,

God is GREAT!!! Jesus is on the throne, Holy Spirit is on the move, and the enemy has been DEFEATED!!! HALLELUJAH!!! We have returned from DC40 and words cannot express what we experienced there. Oh my Lord, my God! The worship and sound released, the declarations proclaimed, and the prayer initiatives deployed were and are beyond description. We had the opportunity to minister alongside James Nesbit, Jim and Faith Chosa, David Van Koevering, and many other pastors, ministers, and worship leaders. James, Jim, and David’s apostolic impartation and pre- training was tremendous! God has set eternity in our hearts! (Ecc. 3:11.)

There were several opportunities to practice “Love in Action”! James Nesbit said that we were in “Bethlehem’s Stable”. We had the honor of ministering to inner-city children (in the highest crime-rate area of DC), and released the Father Heart of God to displace the spirit of illegitimacy from them and the District. People talk about the “cream” – these children are the “cream” – so precious to our heavenly Father! We even moved a family out of an apartment and into a house. We went on several prayer walks throughout the area releasing the Blood Covered Light of Jesus and the Glory came down!!! These acts and opportunities really reflect the heart of James Nesbit who has been key for this initiative.

Thank you all for your prayers and financial support that allowed us to go as Representatives of Mississippi. You were there with us every step of the way! I cannot reveal all that happened there, but I will say, keep your eye on the News, because everything that is hidden will be revealed. Righteousness Exalts A Nation!

We have been invited back to close out the DC Initiative and transition with the team to the opening of the Philadelphia Initiative in November. We covet your prayers in regard to this with schedules, logistics, finances, etc... Again, we thank you for the privilege to participate in this history making event.

51 Days of Reformation Intercession - Washington, D.C. (9/2/2011)
We would like to encourage everyone connected with our ministry to participate in standing in prayer for our nation for 51 days of Reformation intercession to shift our nation. James Nesbit has invited Love Ministries to participate In Worship and the meetings. Kimble and I will be representing the state of MS at this event at the request of Billy Joe and Ruthie Young - Repairers of the Breach Ministry. We are humbled and honored to be a part of this national event!
