DAY 2

PRAY WITH ME
Father, I come boldly into Your throne room covered in the blood of Your son Jesus and right with You.  I submit and open my spirit, soul, and body to You.  I come up under the authority of the blood of Jesus and Your Name.  You will not relent until You have it all - my heart is Yours.  I receive Your word to catch an early flight.  Be my help.  I put my ear to Your chest to hear Your heart.  Holy Spirit, open my ear to hear Father God's heart.  Help me to enter Your rest.  Open my eyes to see that You are holding me, and enable me to receive Your love.  In Jesus' Name.

See yourself welcomed into the arms of the Father.
(Remember the receiving blanket. You are received!)
Let Father God minister to you.
(You will pray this prayer regularly over the next several days.)

NOTE:
If you are having difficulty seeing, receiving, or sensing the Lord's presence, there could be a boarded up place or baggage.  Ask the Father what it is and why it is there.  Jesus is our baggage keeper and carrier.  He took it all at the cross.  Some of you may have just had a thought or memory of something.  Ask Jesus what He wants to heal.  Release it to the Father and Jesus with the help of the Holy Spirit.  It can be a place of anger at God or someone else.  You are in a safe place in the arms of the Father.  He loves you - let Him!

Read 1 Samuel 9-10: The call of Saul.  Pay attention to what God said about Saul (1 Samuel 9:1-2; 9:15-17; 10:1-2).  Look at what Saul said about himself and what he did.
1 Samuel 9:21
Saul answered, "But am I not a Benjamite, from the smallest tribe of Israel, and is not my clan the least of all the clans of the tribe of Benjamin? Why do you say such a thing to me?" (NIV)

1 Samuel 10:20-22
20 When Samuel brought all the tribes of Israel near, the tribe of Benjamin was chosen. 21 Then he brought forward the tribe of Benjamin, clan by clan, and Matri's clan was chosen. Finally Saul son of Kish was chosen. But when they looked for him, he was not to be found. 22 So they inquired further of the LORD, "Has the man come here yet?" And the LORD said, "Yes, he has hidden himself among the baggage." (NIV)

Saul hid among the baggage of insecurity, illegitimacy, poor self image, fear, doubt, and unbelief.  He was ashamed of the size of his family - where he came from.  The word reveals a different story with David.
1 Samuel 17:22
Then David left his baggage in the care of the baggage keeper, and ran to the battle line (NASU)

It is time to leave our baggage with the baggage keeper.  His name is Jesus!
Hebrews 7:24-25
24 but because Jesus lives forever, he has a permanent priesthood. 25 Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them. (NIV)

Father God wants you to rest in the place of security of His arms today.  God speaks to us in different ways - some see, some hear, some of us get impressions.  He will speak to you - it is a promise in His word.
John 10:27
My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; (NASU)

Close your eyes (no distractions), and pray the following:
Holy Spirit, open my heart, my ears, my eyes to hear, to see, to understand what Father God, Jesus, and You are saying about me.
Write down what you receive.

NOTE:
This will be a positive experience of your preciousness to God.  This is not a correction time.  When the Father corrects, it is always redemptive - there is always hope!
